The Costa Del Sol area is a golfer's paradise with many excellent courses to choose from. Here we list some of the best within easy travelling distance of our apartment:

La Cala
La Cala is the biggest golf complex in Spain. Located near Marbella, Costa del Sol, Malaga, La Cala incorporates three of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol.

Marbella
Designed by Dave Thomas and measuring 6,247 metres in length the Marbella Golf Club consists of carefully contoured fairways, beautiful water cascades, lakes and strategically placed bunkers as well as perfectly conditioned undulating greens.

Santana
Situated at between La Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola Santana Golf Course and Country Club lies with breathtaking views of the Mijas mountains, close to the Mediterranean sea. Set within groves of oranges and avocados, truly a place where 'nature and golf are one'.

Cabopino
Inaugurated in April 2001. 18 holes with a par of 71 laid out by little-known Spanish architect Juan Ligues is short but very tight in places. Very scenic course with views to mountains and seas. Buggies obligatory but included in the price of green fee.
